MOTION, OPTICS AND CONTROL
Engineering Multi-Source Effects into One Fixture
We coordinate optical, mechanical, electronic and control work around the selected architecture, then build prototypes, approve the golden sample and complete assembly and model-specific functional testing.
Optics
Develop wash lenses, zoom travel and model-specific laser or strobe integration around the intended output structure.
Mechanics
Engineer five-head motion, linear-bar tilt, six-, ten- or twelve-head Waver tilt/zoom, or dual-sided movement with service access and repeatable positioning in view.
Control
Coordinate DMX personalities, cell or zone addressing, movement behavior, electronics and firmware for the documented mode.
Thermal & power
Review cooling paths and power distribution for each source combination instead of applying one platform assumption to the full family.
Prototype approval
Build and review samples, lock the approved golden sample and confirm technical files before repeat production.
Production testing
Use assembly checks, function testing and continuous-operation testing appropriate to the confirmed product configuration.

TECHNICAL FAQ
Wash FX Moving Head Questions
Direct answers about physical classification, model structures, control depth and customization.
01What is a Wash FX moving head?
A Wash FX moving head is classified by its physical effect architecture, light-source combination and primary effect format. At AOLAIT, the formal family covers five-head Tornado, 12×40W and IP65 10×60W moving bars, six-head 6×60W Waver, ten-head 10×80W Waver, twelve-head 12×60W Waver, 6×40W Wash + 8W Laser and dual-sided 4×60W Wash + Strobe structures.
02Which products belong to the Aolait Wash FX family?
The current registered range contains AL5120T, AL5120TIP and AL0580T five-head Tornado fixtures, AL1240WB 12×40W Moving Head Bar, ALP1060WB 10×60W LED Moving Bar IP65, AL0660WV 6×60W Waver, ALP1080WV 10×80W Waver, separate AL1260WV indoor and ALP1260WV IP65 12×60W Waver products, AL640WX 6×40W Wash + 8W Laser hybrid and AL0460WX dual-sided Wash + Strobe moving head.
03How is Wash FX different from Zoom Wash?
Zoom Wash is centered on adjustable wash coverage. Wash FX requires one of the approved physical effect structures; pixel control, a halo, an RGB ring, auxiliary backlight or the word effect does not by itself move a conventional Zoom Wash into this family.
04How is Wash FX different from Bee Eye?
Bee Eye fixtures use a multi-cell optical face for wash and visual effects. They remain Bee Eye products even when they support pixel control, rotating optics or kaleidoscope-style looks. Wash FX membership is determined by the eight approved structures shown on this page.
05What is a five-head Tornado fixture?
A five-head Tornado fixture places five main wash heads on one linear base. AL5120T and AL5120TIP combine head-specific RGBL, movement and zoom data, while AL0580T combines head-specific RGBW, movement, motorized focus and aura-ring data for layered waves, fans and multi-directional effects.
06What is the purpose of a moving LED bar?
A moving LED bar arranges its main emitters in a horizontal line for broad linear coverage, chases and segmented looks. AL1240WB uses twelve 40W RGBW cells, 270° tilt and 29/68CH personalities. ALP1060WB uses ten 60W RGBW cells, separate white/RGB line sources, 5°–35° zoom, 220° tilt and five personalities from 17CH to 168CH.
07How does the Wash and Laser hybrid work?
AL640WX combines six 40W RGBW wash cells with a central 8W laser module so wash color and laser effects can be programmed in one moving fixture. We provide the model-specific laser label and technical files for the selected configuration, and operation follows the applicable local laser-safety rules.
08What is a dual-sided Wash and Strobe fixture?
AL0460WX has a four-cell RGBW wash face and a reverse face with white and RGB auxiliary sources. Indexed and continuous movement can present either optical face during a cue, supporting transitions between wash, strobe and auxiliary effects.
09Are the effects individually or independently controllable?
Control depth differs by architecture and DMX personality. The Tornado models provide head-specific data in extended modes, including AL0580T control through 85CH and 88CH; AL1240WB exposes twelve RGBW pixels in 68CH, ALP1060WB exposes ten RGBW pixels plus white/RGB line layers in its extended modes, AL0660WV documents five personalities from 23CH to 94CH, ALP1080WV documents six personalities from 29CH to 282CH, AL1260WV documents six personalities from 20CH to 179CH, ALP1260WV documents seven personalities from 26CH to 329CH, AL640WX exposes six RGBW cells in 73CH and AL0460WX exposes expanded cell and reverse-face control in 93CH. Use the current model manual and console profile for programming.
10Can Aolait customize Wash FX fixtures?
